L'AMIA, Marchigiana Associazione Iniziative Artistic Association, owner and organizer of the Marche Prize, is pleased to announce, twenty years after the last edition, the definitive revival of the famous exhibition that, since the Fifties, has been characterized as one of the more significant in the territory of the Marche Region and of national importance.

The Marche Prize, from the 2018 edition returns to be the famous Biennial of Contemporary Art, which will be inaugurated with an exhibition at the Forte Malatesta in Ascoli Piceno from 17 November 2018 to 31 January 2019.

Historically linked to the city of Ancona, the Marche Prize becomes itinerant, to affirm and confirm the primary objective of knowledge and enhancement of the Marche artistic scene in the contemporary, Italian and international visual arts.

Salvi 2016 poster The 66th edition of the International Art Exhibition / Prize "G.B. Salvi ", scheduled from 1 October to 13 November 2016 in Sassoferrato, confirms itself as an event of absolute importance in the vast national panorama of the visual arts, for the presence of great Masters, authors of consolidated experience and young emerging talents, both Italians and foreigners. The prestigious exhibition hosts, as usual, works of painting, sculpture, illustration, graphics, photography and other forms of expression.

Curated by the art historians Nunzio Giustozzi and Daniela Simoni, the exhibition is entitled "MATERIA E SEGNO - The depth of lightness" with a particularly careful look at the research conducted in the modern and contemporary age between humanism and abstraction, between nature and idea, between purism and experimentation, especially in the sculptural field.

The sense of the installation of Giuliano Giuliani, which on Tuesday 15 December is presented at La Nuova Pesa as part of his personal exhibition, consists entirely of that disjunctive conjunction contained in the title: "Flags or Sleepers".
In the great hall of the gallery, placed inside a wooden structure with horizontal compartments (made by Graziano Gregori), there are some sculptures in travertine that seem to have reached the zero point of a subtraction of weight, such is their impalpability, that same felt in the sensual caress of a silky and polished fabric.
